Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Fun Flashlight is built on one principle: everything sensitive is processed on-device. We collect and upload nothing.

1. What we collect

No personal data. The App has no accounts, no analytics SDKs and no ad tracking.

Microphone — used only to analyze ambient sound rhythm in real time to drive the lights. Audio is processed in memory and immediately discarded. Nothing is recorded, stored or uploaded.
Local Network — used only to discover nearby devices on the same Wi-Fi for light sync. Sync traffic contains light commands only, never personal data.
Camera — used only for the viewfinder when taking photos with fill light, and to keep the torch on as a light source.
Photo Library (add only) — when you take a photo, it is saved to your library. We never read or upload your library.
Media / Files — used only to import music you choose for local playback and rhythm analysis. Files never leave your device.

Your settings and playlists are stored only in the App's local sandbox. Uninstalling the App deletes them permanently.

Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store (or Google Play). Payment details are encrypted by the platform and never visible to the developer.

The App is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from them.

If this policy changes materially, we will notify you prominently in the App.
